Timothy J. Semro

Timothy J. Semro is an OSBA Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law, and practices in the area of estate planning, probate, tax and corporate law.

His practice emphasis is in preparing estate planning documents, developing estate plans, probate and estate administration, and business succession plans.

Mr. Semro has specific experience with sophisticated estate planning, including family limited partnerships, generation-skipping trusts, irrevocable and insurance trusts and disclaimer trusts. He also prepares business succession plans and gifting programs.

Volunteering time to serve in the community, Mr. Semro actively participates on boards with the Lutheran Homes Society Foundation and Trinity Lutheran Church in Toledo.  Tim is also a member of the Toledo Estate Planning Council, the Toledo Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Michigan State Bar Association.

Mr. Semro has spoken at seminars on estate planning, income tax and estate tax. He graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo College of Law, where he was a member of Law Review. Tim received his B.A., with honor, in Accounting from Michigan State University. Mr. Semro is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Michigan.
